Teaching

I believe students learn best in an environment that is comfortable, active, and engaging. So, I have three main goals as an instructor: create a comfortable environment where students can participate in discussion with confidence, show students how philosophy applies to their lives, and engage students with active assignments. This involves a focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion in my classrooms, while simultaneously developing learning environments in which critical thinking will flourish.

Please email me for sample syllabi. Some of my recently taught classes include Gender and Feminism, Feminist Philosophy, Introduction to Philosophy, Bioethics, Bioethics and Disability, and Human Nature.
