About
I am a first-generation student who grew up in Maryland and went to a state school for my undergraduate education. I formerly did graduate work at Syracuse University and completed my Ph.D. at Georgetown University in 2022. I have been the managing editor of the Kennedy Institute of Ethics Journal since fall 2021. My current research is about how epistemological frameworks can be used to liberate or oppress marginalized people. I also have significant research interests in bioethics related to body shape. I love working with undergraduates and teaching classes at the intersection of philosophy, diversity, and social justice.
In my spare time, I like to play tabletop and board games and enjoy terrible 80s genre films. I have a beloved orange cat who does nothing but sleep and eat. You can see a picture of my lovely cat below:
